Pike Construction is a Cape Town based building company, established in 1983. It is a second generation owned building company, started by Errol Pike and now owned and operated by his son Lance Pike. We build in Simonstown, Kommetjie, Misty Cliffs, Scarborough and the rest of the South Peninsula including building in Private Estates. We are well versed in all aspects of construction doing extensive new builds, alterations and additions. We have a very hands-on approach and work very closely with our Clients.
The entire professional team strives to complete the Project to the highest possible degree of quality, on time and within budget. Our philosophy is that upon entering into a Contract with our Client, we are also entering into a partnership with the Client.
OUR SERVICES
Turn Key Projects
With our Turn Key Projects, we begin with introducing the Client to the Architect. Throughout the design phase and through to Council submission. We are there to offer constant support and advice. For many of our Clients they do not reside in Cape Town and live predominantly in Johannesburg or Europe. We update the Client on a constant basis. We supply the Client with photographs of the building progress and are in constant contact via the telephone. We keep the Client informed at all times during the Project. All finishing items can be organised with the Client including supply and installation of curtains, blinds, mirrors, furniture. The Turn Key Project can either be run as a Project Management Contract or a Fixed Price Contract.
Fixed Price Contract
The Fixed Price Contract is a ‘lump sum’ contract. It includes a breakdown of provisional costs for all finishes which is included in the price. This enables the Client to see what has been allowed for. It gives the Client the assurance that their home will be finished beautifully and to the highest possible standard.
Project Management Contract
The Project Management Contract is a cost effective method of building where the Client is aware of all the costs incurred, in a totally transparent way. The Client is sent information of the building costs on a weekly basis. We manage your build to a fixed weekly fee. The Client has total control and flexibility over their money.
